Does My website promote plagiarism?
Well, so I made this website (and by website I mean proboards forum, since I don't have to deal with code, and uploading things for commenting is way faster). And the whole purpose of this website is for me to upload my old papers, since I have absolutly no use for them anymore, so that people who look at it either get inspiration or research material, seeing as to how I have history papers, or even book summaries, since I have several books summarized there as I did required "reading responses."
Here's a link so you can skim through it before you make judgement. And no you don't have to register to view anything. Well, the question I pose today is whether or not this promotes plagiarism. A few members of these boards have said that it was a great idea, while others just thought it was a great place for lazy bums to steal essays off of. However, if you check the rules, the first rule is something along the lines of: if you copy anything, I'll smite you down. And at the bottom of each page, I implicitly say not to copy anything, and that these are just reference materials.
So do you think that my website actually promotes plagiarism?

well, if they are good enough, people will definetely rip them. i'd just say "no" and post some of them in the writing section for the hell of it so people can critique them. go essayists!
pfft... sorry btw, if i sound like i'm typing with my feet and i dont make sense, because it's pretty late for me.

What I wonder is why you're asking this question. With links.
So, are you encouraging plagiarism?

Well, if I were you I would put up some disclaimer that tells people not to plagerize. Like http://allfreeessays.com/.
On another note, I need a backround summary for Antigone, can you help a brotha out?(not really though).

Lol, no I'm not encouraging plagerism, b/c if you actually clicked the link, you'd see all of the DO NOT COPY REFERENCE ONLY, things on the bottom of each page. Well, not really advertising...google will do its job eventually.

www.cliffsnotes.com is your friend <.< its basically sparknotes>
What I got from that, is that Oedipus dies and leaves the 2 sons and 2 daughters back... the 2 sons are supposed to alternate who has the throne, but one son won't give it up so the 2 sons fight and both die. The uncle takes over the throne and buries the one who was king, and leaves the one who wasn't out because he was the "invader" in the conflict and needs to be punished. Antigone is engaged to the Uncle's son and she is determined to bury her brother... and she gets caught and the Uncle is gonna kill her, because that was the punishment he set up. Then, he decides to just put her in a room/hole and let her starve to death. Then this seer guy shows up (one of the ones from Oedipus Rex/Oedipus the King if you read that... Tiresias I believe) and tells the Uncle that if Antigone dies, his son will die too... and Antigone ends up hanging herself thinking she'll die. The song sees this, and stabs himself with a dagger. Then his wife jumps off of a high tower, so he's all alone. Some other conflicts in there, but thats the basics.
